Between the area of Miami and Miami Beach are a series of manmade islands. One of these is known as Hibiscus Island, and it provides those who live on the island with a level of privacy that is not always attainable in other areas of Miami. The island is accessible from Palm Island. You will find that there is a good amount of security on the island to make sure that only those who are supposed to be there are on the island. The routes onto the island are guarded around the clock. This means the island could be a nice solution for those high profile individuals and families that need to have more security and privacy.
What Does Hibiscus Island Offer?
Hibiscus Island is located the same distance from Miami as it is from South Beach, so getting to either of these areas along the MacArthur Causeway is easy. This means that you can visit all the great shops, restaurants, beaches, and entertainment venues in a short time. In fact, you can reach these areas in about 10 to 15 minutes in most cases.
Of course, since the residents live on an island, they enjoy some of the best views in the Miami area. They can savor views of Miami Beach, the downtown area, and Biscayne Bay. If you are looking for a location that has some great views, you will be hard pressed to find a place that offers more than Hibiscus Island.
If you have a boat or you are thinking about getting a boat, you will find that this could be a nice place to live since there are so many mooring options in the neighborhood. In addition, you and your family can enjoy the community features on Hibiscus Island. These include things such as the tennis courts, racquetball, and basketball. If you have children, you will be happy to know that there is a children’s park on the island, as well.
People really enjoy the sense of privacy that they have when they are on the island. It is a little oasis for them. However, privacy does not mean that they are secluded. Everything they want and need is going to be just minutes away.
Types of Homes on Hibiscus Island
When it comes to the types of homes available on Hibiscus Island, you will find quite a few options, all of which tend to be opulent and luxurious. Many of the homes are right on the water. However, others are on dry lots, so you can find one that works better for your needs or your budget. The size of the homes can vary, as well. Some of the properties are quite large and luxurious, so everyone should be able to find a solution for them and their family.
