are located north of Miami Beach, east of La Gorce Island homes and south of Normandy Island real esetate. The community itself is characterized by being close knit and for being very family-friendly. The homes that come up for sale here tend to go rather quickly as the island is the sort of place that lends itself to becoming loved at first sight. The island allows direct access by vehicle to the mainland via bridges and, while there is plenty of waterfront, there is no need for a resident to rely on having a watercraft to get to the mainland areas.
Allison Island is one of the most exclusive waterfront neighborhoods in the area. It is popular with families, owing to its security and its being located away from the press of the urban center. While it does enjoy a sense of separation, it is close enough to the urban areas that those who have a daily commute will not suffer for choosing a home on this island. Homes for sale here tend to be very upscale, with a wide variety of very innovative and modern designs generally being available on the market.
South Beach and Miami Beach are within easy reach. There are plenty of upscale eating establishments nearby from which one may choose and, of course, there is plenty of fishing should one prefer to catch their own dinner for the evening. The neighborhoods in this area are popular with the arts and design crowd and there are art galleries to explore within nearby communities should one feel a need to experience a bit of culture. For simpler pleasures, the Normandy Shores Golf Course is not far to the north, within easy driving distance for a weekend's afternoon diversion.
